Guided Tours of Cockermouth Castle

Since 2011, the Cockermouth and District Civic Trust has been leading free guided tours of Cockermouth Castle, giving visitors a rare opportunity to explore this historic site.

Booking & Tour Information

Tour dates are announced annually, and tickets must be pre-booked:

  • Tickets must be pre-booked at Cockermouth Library. Release dates for the tickets will be publicised on this website and our Facebook Page.
  • Please note: Tours are not suitable for children under 7 years old or for pets.
